If there's ever a time to combine cultural enlightenment with air conditioning, it's now. And there's no better place to head than the cool, refreshing mecca that is the Corcoran Gallery of Art. We've been eagerly anticipiating the exhibition featuring painter Richard Diebenkorn, and we're thinking his palette of soothing pastels and ocean-esque hues will be just the thing to soothe our summer woes.
The exhibit serves as the perfect backdrop for a chill outing with your honey or your BFF, and if you go on Saturday, you'll get free admission. And if you haven’t got a clue what to wear, we can help with that, too. We've come up with an ensemble that's equal parts abstract and modern, with a palette that serves as a super-chic nod to the artist, to boot.
