Valentine’s Day is a mixed grab bag of emotions. Single, and you feel the need to prove to everyone else that you’re okay. In a relationship, and you feel the need to have the most perfect evening ever (which usually puts way too much pressure on what’s often a pretty good thing).
“This Valentine’s Day let yourself off the hook through self-forgiveness,” she says. “Make the commitment to release your past, accept the present, and surrender the future. Throughout the day continue to say this mantra to yourself, ‘I love you and I forgive you.’”
