Welcome Some Sweet Southerners To Chicago With The Post Family

It’s September, and even if you’re not technically going back to school, we could all use a little intellectualism in our lives come fall. Even if you do feel nostalgic for the days of grades, school supplies, and back-to-school shopping, The Post Family is classing things up with PUBLIC SCHOOL, an Austin-based collective focused on design, illustration, and photography, that'll debut “Homework” at The Post Family's studio, The Family Room, this Friday. With their extensive collection of stuff you wish you studied in school (think cowboys, hot dogs, old motels, etc), you won’t want to play hooky from this one. Plus, there’s no need to don your school uniform– your chicest art-lover ensemble will do just fine.

The Family Room, 1821 West Hubbard Street #202 (between North Wolcott Avenue and North Wood Street); 312-265-6406.
