Simply Pulled Back
This look is entirely low-maintenance, encouraging a focus on the face and the dress. The hair has no defined part and is loosely pulled back into a bun in the middle back of the head, creating a style that's simple yet sophisticated. Kenneth Pool, Anna Maier, and Christos all featured this versatile style. Unlike the traditional sleek and tightly pulled-back style, the loosely positioned updo will last all night, with flyaway pieces only adding to its appeal.
Whether straight with a touch of movement or subtle waves, hair worn simply down the back made its mark on the recent bridal runways. Glamorous bombshell curls and defined retro waves were replaced by more natural and low-maintenance styles. The focus was on the center part with a few looks showing slight side-swept strands. Bigger, looser, and less structured waves make the look less glossy and glamorous and more effortlessly romantic. Angel Sanchez showed a center-part, slicked back on top with loose, natural waves down the back, while Austin Scarlett went with slightly more polished versions.
