Silver Lining X Opening Ceremony New Aviators

Some of us over here were pretty young in 1986, so we don't quite remember Rodenstock Aviators, but we can somehow still imagine Rob Lowe having sex in them. Let's just pause a moment after that visual. So anyway, here's the good news: These starry-eyed sunnies, released by German eye-wear company Rodenstock in the '80s without lenses, are being reissued in a limited-edition mad exclusive collaboration between Silver Lining Opticians (our favorite local shade-makers) and Opening Ceremony . Just in time for spring's first thaw, the shades are available now, in five fierce colors at OC's new spot at the Ace Hotel for $275. And considering all the history and St. Elmo's Fire memories packed into these, that's quite a steal. Now let's just pray for a really sunny day.
