Last year around this time, Vogue Italia impressed us on several levels with its "Black Issue, an edition of the vaunted mag featuring only beauties of African decent like Liya Kebede, Jourdan Dunn, and, of course, Naomi Campbell. As forceful and gorgeous a statement as that was, it might have to take a backseat to a new supplement stuffed into the latest issue of Italian Vogue—a mini-magazine that replicates the "Black Issue" with Barbies!!! Editrix Franca Sozzani has topped herself again. We mean, it would have been enough if it were just an issue showcasing Babs on the 50th anniversary of her creation, no matter the color of the dolls in question. But posing the "So In Style" models, which display more natural-looking black features, in pools, curled seductively on kinky couches, and flirty lingerie? Brava Signora Sozzani!
