Could This Quirky, Whimsy Italian Label Be The Next Big Thing?

When an under-the-radar European brand shows up on one of our street-style heroes, you can bet that we pay close attention. And when we saw Elle China's Leaf Greener sporting a particularly festive, red-manicured hand collar, we had to know who made it. Turns out, it was Vivetta, an Italian brand that's been on our short list for a while.
The hand collar is part of the brand's autumn line, a range filled out with other whimsical, prim-yet-quirky pieces: Alice in Wonderland-esque, frilly, card-shark dresses, (incidentally topical) furry, yellow outerwear, and a sheer dress made modest with some strategically placed fabric bears. It's youthful but with an urban edge — we doubt anyone would accuse a Vivetta devotee of being too childish, thanks to the ever-present, tongue-in-cheek humor. While some nice ladies named Miuccia and Donatella may rule the Italian fashion scene, the Vivetta girl isn't too far behind.
