Sure, we all love to pick and peck through vintage racks at fleas and shops. But, uh, one has to look at a lot of unwearable rags just to find that one decent discovery. Well, this weekend, Organizing Options of Illinois is teaming with Axis of Evelyn – the business of vintage stylist Evelyn Daitchman – for a studio sale so finely curated that every item is a treasure. See, Daitchman – a pro in the vintage game who's worked with Jill Stewart, Stella McCartney, and Bjork – is liquidating her archive of 1,000+ pieces ranging from the 1910s all the way to the '80s, and all those accessories, chorus-girl costumes, kimonos, classic Interview Magazines, housewares, furniture, dresses, and fabulous ephemera from all decades have to go somewhere. Just pick through her wares, and we're sure something special will go home with you.
