What's the process been like renovating your home?
"Exhausting! By necessity, we did a lot of work ourselves, stripping paint off windows and floors, sanding, painting, rebuilding the window frames, etc. We are both DIY people. It's a hell of a learning experience, but very satisfying (when it's done!). Finally, it's a joy to live here and it's good to not be covered in paint or dust all week long. Of course, we’re still doing bits and bobs now and again; we probably always will!"
