If you're going to pay your respects to Alexander McQueen, you simply must dress the part. While the late designer's iconic work defined the dress code inside
the V&A's new "Savage Beauty" exhibit
, the style scene outside was much more diverse. After all, it's not like those armadillo heels
are that conducive to strolling around a museum for hours on end.
The city's must-see show of the moment drew a large number of style stars in pursuit of couture gowns and Kate Moss holograms. It also drew us, in pursuit of museum-goers who were dressed to impress. Let's say it was not
a mission: impossible.
Behold, 16 show-goers who slayed us with their effortless ensembles. A day at the museum is a fairly casual event, but these Londoners stepped it up with their head-turning looks. Here, they share their style secrets and favourite McQueen moments.
