Play With Fire At Vertigo Sky Lounge On Friday — In the Freezing Cold

2dana
Us? Play with fire? Sure — but only if it tastes like Dr. Pepper. So, you can bet we’ll be sipping pretty on Friday night at the seasonal opening of the Fire & Ice Patio at Vertigo Sky Lounge.
Perched on the 26th floor of the Dana Hotel and Spa, the space is the city’s sole winter patio. The tundra-style party spot has bartenders pouring flaming shots at an ice bar (yes, some come with a Dr. Pepper dash). There’s also a resident DJ and a frosty garden of ice sculptures. At the opening bash, which runs from 8 p.m. to midnight, you can also peep designs from K. Amato’s spring jewelry collection. There’s nothing wrong with adding a little sparkle to your ski coats and scarves, right?

And if even thinking about drinking outside right now gives you the chills, shiver not. The thoughtful staffers at the Dana Hotel also stocked the space with a fire pit, fuzzy blankets, and thick robes. (These folks are in hospitality, after all.)
Want in? RSVP at VertigoSkyLounge@Zapwater.com. We’ll see you on Friday, fellow Eskimos! And until then, stay cool.
