With a twist on the runway presentations we have come to expect, the design duo that always keeps vintage style fresh opted for a sit-down style viewing of their newest collection. Accompanying a dinner, Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai of Vena Cava debuted their lookbook for spring '12. Distinctly feminine, the collection is made strong by clean lines and bold colors, themes consistent throughout, including strong pops of tangerine, fiery red, and pale yellows that scream springtime style. The Vena Cava gals also brought the return of wide-leg, high-waist pants, body-skimming pencil skits, and classic collarless blazers for instant—yet understated—glamour. To complete their 21-look collection, take note of their gorgeous batch of handbags, and one pair of striped wedges that we'll be dreaming about until next winter's snow melts!
