How much of Shelterblack will be a conversation with Bleachblack and what inspired you to launch the blog?
"Basically, Shelterblack is a curated edit of items, spaces, projects, and places coupled with inspired home photography by the lovely Amber B. Dianda. The bold aesthetic of the blog is decidedly contemporary, but with a bit of an edge. Because my boyfriend Jonathan Boyd and I are so obsessed with design, we decided to launch our home collection at the Dwell on Design tradeshow. Ever since then we've been so thrilled with the amazing response. The collection is a general store concept with modern, raw, and affordable items for the kitchen, home, and garden. Of course, Kristin and I continue to edit Bleachblack together — but we'll always have our independent projects."
