Crystal Renn has been taking over our radar of late, appearing in a Mad Men-esque shoot for
Elle Canada, and whose book "Hungry" is topping our must-reads over holiday break. According to Page Six, Crystal's next move is to appear in a
plus-size-only issue of
V Magazine. "Big, little, pint-size, plus-size—every body is beautiful. And this issue is out to prove it" says editor-in-chief
Steven Gan, who somehow roped in best chum and notorious
heavyset-hater, Karl Lagerfeld, into shooting for the issue. Along with the Kaiser, Terry Richardson and Bruce Weber are also slated to shoot editorials of models in various stages of undress. With ladies outside the 0-2 range cropping up on more and more
runways,
editorials, and lookbooks, we can't help but hope that this issue will be a harbinger of sorts of bigger (and better!) times to come! Here's to new attitudes in the new year! (
