This fall, hardcore homesteading fans have plenty to look forward to! For starters, homesteading queens K. Ruby Blume and Rachel Kaplan, (who literally wrote the book on the practice!) will be delivering organic lifestyle tips straight from their how-to guide, Urban Homesteading: Heirloom Skills for Sustainable Living, this week, Wednesday, September 28th. Then, just a few days later, folks can put the stuff they've read to the test when Kaplan hosts a day-long workshop of homestead activities, where she’ll demonstrate how to preserve food, manage waste, and help build a community. And that's not all. Two final Kaplan-hosted events, on October 22nd and October 29th, will bring it all home with tips on the best ways to utilize garden space and how to sprout your own heirlooms. Events like these have us budding with excitement! Info on how to sign up below.
