Using two bobby pins, create an X at the back of the head; this will be the anchor for building the updo. Take the teased hair and use a brush to gently smooth it back, then pin hair to the crisscrossed pins with a third pin. Smooth the hair at the top front of your head up and over, securing at the same spot.
