Take a small amount of hair in the center of the section and fishtail braid it up and over across the opposite side of the head and pin into place. "If you're bugged by flyaways and rebellious layers while you braid, try coating your fingers in a small amount of gel before you start; this will help to keep things contained as you go," Leibovitz suggests.
