V Magazine's Smoky, Old-School Editorial Makes Grandma's Duds Look Cool Again
If you never played dress-up in your mom's closet growing up, now might be a good time to start. In fact, judging from "Forever Young," a gorgeous, heavily vintage-inspired V magazine editorial featuring Eniko Mihalik and Constance and Jacquelyn Jablonski (no relation), you might even want to dip into Granny's wardrobe. Photographer Sebastian Faena captures the girls in a circa-1960, pre-PETA and surgeon general warning world where fine furs, veiled pillbox hats, leather gloves, and an omnipresent cigarette are donned for tasks as mundane as walking the dogs and having dinner alone at home. Prim and proper, with a dash of sumptuous—it seems grande dame style can look good at any age. (Fashion Spot)
