Fashion Illustrations That Inspire Our Sauvage Love
Artistry by French hand is an age-old tradition (merci Renoir!). Nowadays, contemporary French illustrations create a modern standard of magnifique. Take the work of Parisienne Marguerite Sauvage (who was just featured on one of our favorite blogs, Cyanatrendland). Sauvage creates an intriguing intimacy between animal and human, reverie and reality. In her world, lady-beast hybrids are clothed in puff-sleeve jackets. Imaginative and dreamy, it's like Narnia unfolded in le Marais.
