Donald Trump’s Getting An NYC Golf Course, And It’ll Hardly Cost Him Anything

Next year, you'll get your PGA on a little closer to home...and by that we mean in your backyard. The Donald has been given the green light to build a PGA-regulation golf course at Ferry Point Park in the Bronx. Though Trump will be constructing a $10 million club house to accompany the expansive grounds, the city will not be collecting any rent checks from him for the first four (or, Fore!) years. And, while the Parks Department has agreed to allow Trump to run the golf course for a 20-year span, don't expect it to take more than a slight nick out of his nest egg — he only has to pay seven percent of the expenses after the four-year honeymoon, and a mere 10% after 16 years. A representative from the Parks Department says that the city's newest pastime playground aims to provide a public service — green for all (Mr. Trump included). (Gothamist)

Are you excited about a new golf course in the Boogie Down Bronx, or is it a hole-in-one mistake?
