Morning Wood: Designers Go Au Natural

wood0930a.jpg

It seems that many of our favorite designers have been getting in touch with their inner lumberjack these days. We keep noticing accessories decked out with wood details striding down the runway. Bangles from Burberry were chunky cuts of dark wood, whilst Dolce & Gabbana opted for a sleeker, lacquered bamboo to bottom off their exotic platforms. Gucci, and Donna Karan also keyed in on the trend with footwear dedicated to stumps and branches and all things woody. With killer looks like these, we can almost forget about saving the rainforest.
