Making The Squad: Varsity Jackets To Cheer About

Always ahead of the game, our friend Josh Teixeira over at Cool Hunting showed up for a night out in Brooklyn in a vintage varsity jacket. While we hate to blow his spot, we couldn't resist finding one for ourselves, and along the way we discovered we aren't the only ones. Both Viktor & Rolf and A.P.C. have included a version in their spring/summer '09 collections, while Number (N)ine and Junya Watanabe sported the look in their fall/winter '08 collections. A fun throwback to our high school days, we're hoping we can rummage through the attic while we're home for the holidays and dig out our dad's, or for a more modern look try the Varsity Jacket from Keep or the plaid flannel coat from Hellz Bellz.
