Gym Jams — Even with expert-designed fitness routines, there are some days when you just do not want to go the gym. At. All. On those days, you need to get a little creative. Below are some not-so-snoozy tips to help you get through the days where you’d literally rather be doing anything else. (May we also suggest our R29-approved workout playlist?)

Russian (Shuffle) Roulette: Add one power song to your workout playlist multiple times and hit play on shuffle. Each time the song comes on, sprint for a minute.

"Drinking" Games: Instead of taking a sip of beer ach time a Kardashian cries, step up your workout game. Tick up your incline each time Kim gets (way) overemotional, you hear a faux-bleep during Awkward, or Jon Stewart takes a swipe at Paul Ryan.

Commercial Crazy: There’s nothing to motivate or entertain you during the commercial breaks, which can make even a great workout suddenly take a turn for the boring. Each time a celebrity spokesperson pops up in a commercial, do thirty seconds with free hand weights on the treadmill.
