Fellow jet-setters, get some traveling in before the summer season is over, and head to the coffee mecca that is Seattle. Sure, this sweet city offers up some fantastic fare and beautiful sights, but it's the shopping that might just surprise you, especially with the opening of Totokaelo’s massive location. The new shop boasts a whopping 7,000 square feet of carefully curated, high-end collections, including Rick Owens, Yohji Yamamoto, Ann Demeulemeester, and Jil Sander (just to name a few). And, with the launch of its new lifestyle brand, featuring art, objects, and fabulous home furnishings, we wonder how we ever got along without it (until now).
The awe-inspiring mega boutique is worth visiting for the space alone. Multiple levels and 20-foot ceilings means lots of space for lots of merch. Toto founder Jill Wenger has put together what she believes "to be the most honest, beautiful, and interesting fashion, art, and objects in the world right now,” she says. And, we couldn’t agree more. Next stop, Capitol Hill, Seattle!
