Need A Jolt? Try This Peach Smoothie With A Turmeric Kick

Get a jolt of long-lasting energy from ripe peaches, carrots, and turmeric. The spice, which comes from a root in the ginger family, is used in Ayurvedic medicine and is believed to have anti-inflammatory and immune-supporting properties. This smoothie is not only packed with flavor, but it delivers a healthy dose of wellness, too. We'll drink to that.

Peach Turmeric Smoothie
Makes 1 smoothie

Ingredients
3 peaches, pitted and chopped
1-inch piece of ginger, peeled
1 tsp turmeric
2 carrots, peeled and chopped
1 cup almond milk

Instructions
1. Place peaches, ginger, turmeric, and carrots in a blender and pour over the almond milk.

2. Blend on high until smooth and fully incorporated.
