We live for the weekend. So, this fall, we're sharing the epic destinations that are filling up our 48 hours of uninterrupted freedom in this new series, Weekend Wanderlust. Get inspired, and then show us your own #Epic48 weekend snaps on Instagram.
Whether it's boozy brunch followed by a sample sale, solo time at the park with a magazine before a sunset run, or just closing all the curtains and catching up on some ZZZs, everyone's got a go-to weekend itinerary.
But, for R29 photo assistant Rockie Nolan, weekends in her nook of Brooklyn are times to take her adventure streak up a notch and try new things — like zipping through Williamsburg on a vintage motorcycle or playing shuffleboard for the first time, which we admit sounds incredibly dull but is actually surprisingly riveting.
So, we teamed up with Secret's Scent Expressions and Destinations Collection to spend a weekend with Rockie and document her many "firsts," while getting the scoop on the best pit stops in town. Take a look at her nonstop weekend — it just might inspire you to take a trip down the L line.
