Sweater Song: New Knits from Cardigan

Sure, it may still be hot as hell, but already the first little evening nip is in the air. Time to arm yourself with some cozy knits that make the transition from summer to fall, beach to Bowery. Currently, we're obsessing a few of the fall pieces from the new CARDIGAN line, from designer Lynne Hiriak. No stranger to sweaters, Hiriak has been knitting up a storm for the likes of Michael Kors, Polo, and Derek Lam for years. Her solo collection includes such soft treats as skinny-ribbed tanks, chunky wear-me-in-the-snow sweaters, and, our favorite, adorable little knit vests—all of them perfect for wearing over summer dress to warm up when the city starts to cool down.
