For a minute there, it seemed the Wayfarer had seized control over this here city and any adjacent boroughs. Initially coveted for their throwback appeal, the Wayfarer hit its ubiquitous heights once spotted perched on the nose of Lauren "LC" Conrad. Enter CoLab to breathe some much needed fresh air into the sunglasses market. An artistry collective comprised of international designers, CoLab encourages its members to abandon the rules and create pieces that are both infused with their aesthetic and "accessible to their followers." The results are equally reflective: From a futuristic bent to the revised retro, CoLab is all about expanding on the present. Check out the "Corbu" an immediate favorite, while the "Waybetters" get the message across loud and clear.
