Recycled Leathah: Hoakon/Helga's Sustainable Style

hoakonhelga_monarda.jpgHoakon/Helga is an accessories line that uses the favorite material of Stella from Project Runway (yes, leathah!) and, moreover, operates using green applications. Founded by Canadian designer Andrea Strand, the handbag collection is constructed from 100% recycled materials. A variety of repurposed textiles line the bags' interiors, while signature Daisy Duck sized bows or country-cabin flannel strips adorn the exteriors. Given the varied sources of the materials, no two bags are the quite same, making each design unique.
