One Leg Up: PegLeg NYC Gets Girls in on the Fun
Move over La Lohan—some actual designers have stepped up to the challenge of making fun leggings this season. Branching out from their menswear collection, the multitasking boys at Pegleg NYC are welcoming ladies to the club. In addition to floral leggings that have been transported via time machine directly from the set of 90210 (the original one, kids), there's a selection of jeans and tops in lumberjack-y Buffalo Plaids. The boys, who grew up here in NYC and met as youngsters, don't stray too far from their menswear vibe, but the results are still sexy and fun—kind of like a, "I stole my boyfriends favorite shirt," sorta thing. The lookbook is packed with flirtatious and frisky pictures, and features Isabelle McNally and Vashtie Kola. Kudo's, gents, for finally letting the girls in on the action.
