These Porcelain Trinkets Are Not Your Everyday China
We've never been particularly graceful, so we generally steer clear of jewelry that can't handle being roughed up. But we might be persuaded tocan put our bull-in-a-china-shop tendencies on check considering how beautiful these porcelain pieces are. A collaboration between porcelain manufacturers Nymphenburg and jewelers Ted Muehling and Patrik Muff, the collection is based on a tradition that has its roots in the 18th century when ladies would exchange small porcelain trinkets as a sign of mutual respect. Muehling and Muff put a modern spin on this age-old custom, turning out organic seed-pod pendants, gothic skulls, and sculpted angel wings. Pick up your own porcelain trinket at Tomas Maier.
