Hog Wild! Harley's New Iron 883—and a Fresh Take On Moto-Wear—Revs Our Engines
The nouveau-biker look is ubiquitous among the downtown crowd thanks to Alex Wang, Balmain, and one Miss Wasson, but really, the Village sees more vintage Vespas than serious hogs. As much as us wannabe easy riders would like to tame the latter, we've never had the guts (or the cash) to match our studded leather bombers to our rides. Now, Harley-Davidson's made it easier to put our money where our biker-chic fantasies are with this year's release of the Iron 883, a pared-down, matte-black, more affordable version (just under $8K!) of the classic American motorcycle. But what to wear on such a mad-cool machine? Just check out our fresh take on non moto-wear, too..
Above, clockwise from left: Harley-Davidson Iron 883 Motorcycle, starting at $7,899, available at Harley-Davidson dealers; Linda Farrow Vintage Matte Aviators, $195.99 (were $393.39), available at My Theresa; Diesel Lamian Leather Jacket, $650, available at 80s Purple; Les Ateliers Ruby Pavillon St. Germain Helmet, about $600, available at Colette; Horace Black Leather Vest Tank, $109 (was $218), available at Oak.
