Eau de Dude: The New Prada Silver Hits the Streets
Sure, we could have simply spritzed and posted on how much we're digging Prada's new Metallic limited-edition cologne for men. But we thought, why not establish the scent's true manly cred by reaching out to that elusive creature: The guy on the street who has the time, patience, and courage to let some stranger squirt musk at him like a sales-floor ninja at Bloomies.
"Oh, this is fresh. Yeah, I would put this on before a date. It has a little chocolatety scent to it. I think she'd like that."
Bill, Teamster Local 1817
"Oh, this is good. It reminds me of that spray Calvin Klein. Yeah, I'd take it out on a date. Why not?"
Dave, Student
"I need to take a whiff of what? Oh, Prada? Okay then. Nice! The first idea was kind of like a man's barbershop. Like a typical, traditional, old-school barbershop. I like very delicate oils and very minimal scents. Always 99.999% of perfumes I would never wear. Still, this is nice."
Pablo, Photographer
"It's great! It's actually good…a bit exotic, but it's not as heavy as the other scents are—like Gucci, which is also an exotic fragrance. I would use this personally for sure."
Vineet, Fashion Designer
Prada Metallic Limited Edition is available at Nordstrom.
