Urban Outfitters, never one to miss the boat on the latest and greatest hipster sensation, is now jumping onto the bike trend with a make-your-own-bike shop. For $399, you can select the size and colors of your shiny new fixed-gear, which will then be built just for you. I remember back in the day when fixed-gears were this ultra-cool thing all the punk kids and indie boys talked up like it were a big secret, and now...Well, kinda feels like your favorite cult band just started playing Madison Square, doesn't it? Oh well. They're relatively inexpensive, and available in an array of colors from sky blue to pretty copper...just don't be surprised when you see the same style riding down your specific block of Bedford.
