Casadei: Getting High the Old-Fashioned Way
Yeah, yeah, we know all the old historic Italian footwear houses have become newly chic (though, in our humble opinion, Ferragamo never went out of chic). But from the looks of Casadei's fall collection, we're thinking this just-turned-50-year-old family-owned label is ready for its own renaissance. Case-in-point: We like a nice platform...a REAL platform. And Casadei's crepe-heeled lifts have enough heft to get anyone high. In the brightest non-fall shades of cherry, hot-pink, and the perfect blue, Casadei's patent-toed bootie, knee-high boot, and Mary Jane get our vote for best reason not to where black shoes to Fashion Week in September.
