A New Pouch-Purse Makes Us Wonder If Canvas Is the New Leather
We just got wind of a new adaptable pouch-purse-hip-wallet thingy from Unholy Matrimony. We won't lie: They look a little like something we'd find in an army-navy store (though in much prettier colors). But we'll be the first to admit that sort of utilitarian vibe is something we love (the fewer bells and whistles on our bags, the better). You can wear one of these messenger-style or attach it to your hip with the handy belt loops. And about that canvas? More and more designers are turning to the heavy-duty fabric in their It Bag making (just look at Yves Saint Laurent and Mulberry). So, is canvas the new leather?
