So, Saturday is Sweetest Day. Don't feel bad if it wasn't on your radar. The Hallmark holiday tends to get lost in the October Halloween madness. But now that you're in the know, it wouldn't hurt to convince your main squeeze to take you out for a nice romantic dinner pour deux. Swinging single? We've got plans for you, too — but for Friday night. Our theory? If you play your cards right, you just might wind up with Sweetest Day date, after all.
The Underground teamed up with Skinny Socials (a networking group that creates calorie conscious events) to host a singles soirée on Friday, October 19, from 9 to 11 p.m. You'll be mixing — literally — with others based on your matching cocktail preferences. As the name suggests, all of the drinks (and eats) will be less than 200 calories. How many you plan on consuming is completely up to you.

See a guy (or gal) that catches your eye, but the liquid courage hasn't kicked in? Not to worry. There will be wingmen (and women) on hand to break the ice for you. Not exactly the incognito approach, but at least you won't have to get your BFF involved. The price to get in is just $20. Love almost don't cost a thing.
