Depending on who you ask, exotic-skinned bags are either the epitome of good taste or bad taste. Reese Witherspoon was recently criticized by PETA for not only carrying a python bag after she was awarded sexiest vegetarian by the animal-rights organization, but also because that python bag was illegal. California state law dictates that it's illegal to import commercial python into California, but not illegal if you buy it elsewhere and bring it in, which is what Reese likely did. For the rest of us non-celebrity types, we shouldn't have to worry about ever coming to own this specific Chloé bag, as they retail just under $4,000. (Daily Mail)
