Tell us how The Podolls label came to be.
Lauren: "When we met, we shared an instant connection and passion for aesthetics. Our partnership evolved quickly and we knew we could pool our resources to start a collection together. We started with a small group of graphic tees — Josh’s drawings silkscreened on blank tees for men and women — and from there we started experimenting with pattern making and educating ourselves about textiles and production of cut-and-sew garments. It’s been quite an adventure over the past 9 years or so, and we’re happy to say that the current iteration of The Podolls expresses both our visual interests and belief in sustainability."
