On a quest for the next big thing in the food industry, sisters Danielle and Laura Kosann have begun the journey with The New Potato. Profiling chefs, restauranteurs, and celebrities alike with cuisine questionnaires, the world of dining has reached a whole new level of delish.
Claire Distenfeld’s incredibly curated boutique, Fivestory, is no doubt an Upper East Side staple. However, rows and rows of Acne, Roland Mouret, and Peter Pilotto are not the only things filling Distenfeld’s days. On the contrary, her personal story involves five stories of food, as well as fashion.

We shot Distenfeld in her realm of style amongst five of her favorite things in food: Caviar, tequila, her dining standby Le Charlot, a collection of trinkets she’s "borrowed" from around the world, and smoked fish (which — due to the mess — we replaced with a to-die-for Alexander Wang smoking jacket that is just as salivating). Peruse, shop the shoot, and get inspired for your weekday lunches, which we now expect you to make far more interesting.
