The MTA’s Newest Passengers: Subway Rats (Video)

Although we've got plenty of reasons to ride the subway (see 36 of them here), there are also a couple cons, judging by the video we posted two weeks ago of a rat waking up a passenger. It seems that the rat attack ain't quite over yet, as we now have proof that our furry friends might as well be paying MTA passengers. In the below clip, check out subway riders acting like they're rats and rats are the humans—strap-hangers climb on to seats, grab poles, and generally act like it's the apocalypse. All the while, Mr. Rat hangs out like he owns the place, before jauntily sauntering out the doors and onto the platform. Gives a new meaning to rat race, huh? (Gawker)
