    Every Fashion Week there are a few labels who take an age old fashion taboo and throw it in your face. Intimates line The Lake & Stars featured a round-up of models that were both short and tall, thin and "average-sized" (which sparked a controversy of its own), each gorgeous in their own, womanly way. Tangy orange lipstick was a gorgeous accent against the greens, whites, and blacks, and hair was swooped romantically to the side over the girls' faces. Contours and panels exaggerated the form and fit of the pieces, flattering each body type. Impressed we stood, until we got a closer look at the security guards positioned around the room, and the dirty high school humor on their name tags (Mike Hunt, anyone?). Then, we were really in love.
