WHAT: Designer
WHY: Because he taught us that high fashion doesn't have to be slick and of-the-moment, and that mixing seemingly kooky patterns and fusing masculine with feminine was a language we all wanted to speak. Because he's still our top search for vintage on eBay, we can see his influence in a million different designers, and because, each season, his shoes remind us why working in fashion is so utterly awesome.
