WHY: Because she had the confidence to gracefully drop out of the fashion world while her career at Chloé was in high gear (like, who does that??), had beautiful babies, and then took her time choosing the right design house, even though we're positive everyone in Paris, Milan, and New York came a' calling. Because, under her gaze, Céline has become not just a resurrected legacy brand, but a symbol of what millennial fashion can be.
