Sure, we could spend hours (er, days) browsing cat videos, but, for those who enjoy a deeper dive into the scientific and philosophical realm of the animal kingdom, there's The Dodo. Covering everything from why cats purr to sting operations on tiger poacher rings in Sumatra, The Dodo is committed to creating an unprecedented community for animal-lovers.

It's (obviously) no secret that the company of cats is good for the soul — and that practicing yoga is, too.

Homeward Bound, a no-kill pet shelter in Illinois, recently teamed up with local studio Yoga at Connie's to host a special class featuring adoptable adult cats. Students were encouraged to practice their poses and mingle freely with the felines, all in the hopes of finding these pets the forever homes they deserve.

We spoke to Connie Pease about the experiment, and the results were so amazing that we can only hope other studios have been taking note.
