Heaven's Dog San Francisco

Heaven's Dog
Hours: Monday-Saturday, 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
For those who claim Chinese as their ultimate comfort food, Heaven's Dog offers a slew of delicious eats on its late-night menu. We love the Shanghai dumplings with pork, rice vinegar, and ginger, along with the vegetarian pork belly (we know it sounds weird!) with shitake and crispy tofu skin wrapped in a clam-shell bun. And, if you die for rice pudding, don't miss the good stuff here, which comes with bits of caramelized pineapple and Thai basil!

Heaven's Dog, 1148 Mission Street (between 7th and Julia streets); (415) 863-6008.
