Being an actress is tough, tough work. Do you ever get discouraged? What do you think was your greatest professional accomplishment to date?
"You know, it's really tempting to say something about a role, or nailing a monologue, or honestly being in a difficult moment, but the truth is, I think my greatest accomplishment is just not giving up. The amount of rejection and cycles of elation and disappointment any actor has to experience can be pretty extreme, but it's absolutely worth it when I receive opportunities to do what I love. And I really do love it."

Tell us what your average day is like. What do you find yourself looking forward to?
"My average day is usually going on auditions for a variety of projects — film, tv, commercials, voice-over, or print. In the evenings, I'm typically working on memorizing lines and preparing characters for more castings or a project. When I'm not doing actor-y things, I'm writing scripts or making jewelry. I've been working with theater and opera director, Jay Scheib, since I graduated. One of my favorite times of the year is getting to work with him and his family of actors and designers. His company lends a type of consistency and community to my normally erratic schedule. Our last piece, World of Wires, opened at the Kitchen in January, will be touring in France for the month of November. Right now, I'm trying to convince Jay to direct me in what would be our first big film endeavor together... Jay!"
