Thanksgiving Prix Fix Menu ($95 per person, plus $45 if you opt for the wine pairing)

David Chang's midtown beacon, má pêche, is one of the culinary hubs of, well, all of Manhattan. Trying to impress the in-laws or that hot new boyfriend's parents? Go ahead and make the reservation before your only Thanksgiving option involves a turkey sweater vest and your mom's stuffing recipe, a concoction that even the cat wouldn't touch.

*The menu is subject to change, vegetarian options are available, and there's even a kids menu for 12 and under.

First Course: Fluke with butternut, yogurt, pepitas OR Apple Salad with buckwheat, mushrooms, seaweed.

Second Course: Squash Soup with banana, curry, cream OR Oyster Stew with salsify, leeks, trout roe

Third Course: Halibut or Turkey with potato, stuffing, green beans, brussels, cranberry

And the final dismount: Pecan pie with vanilla, sweet potato, agave

This plush seasonal American restaurant is keeping things old school, with an all-American Thanksgiving menu in tow. A word to the wise: make sure to call ahead to make a reservation, or go ahead and book it on OpenTable.com.

Leave the family feud at home, and keep the peace at the borrowed dinner table; Ellabess will help you keep everyone's interest at heart by providing each diner with an option of three sides: dressing, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, creamed onions, braised kale.

First Course: Celery root and leek soup OR mixed green salad, OR gnocchi with brown butter, rosemary and kabocha squash
