Techies Holiday Company Parties Are Like WOAH

It’s hard not to see green when flipping through snaps of Silicon Valley’s campuses. With offices decked out with sleeping pods, personal chefs, tiki bars, et al...sometimes, it really feels like we’re watching an episode of Cribs.
So, it comes as no surprise that tech’s biggest companies would go all out for its holiday soirees as well. In case you missed the envy-inducing photos circulating on social media, the Daily Mail has a recap of the coolest, most ostentatious holiday happenings.
For instance, Facebook celebrated a year well-done by renting out the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium and featured a mashed potato bar. Yahoo tapped the Counting Crows for entertainment, so people could enjoy some live entertainment while nibbling on gold-dusted cupcakes. And, perhaps the most extravagant soiree of the year was Google's shindig this past weekend: think a firework show, a disco, live jazz, all taking place on a ship, natch. Take a looksee at some of the techie hijinks. Let’s just say, this will make your company holiday party look like child’s play.
