Your forecast for the weekend: breezy and bright with a chance of waffles, side of bacon, and a hair-of-the-dog Bloody Mary (or seven). Nothing makes the brunch rush more bearable than a nice table in the sun. These, in no particular order, are our picks for where to enjoy your midday meal in the great outdoors.

The concrete city feels a million miles away from the ivy-strewn patio of Max Sussman's excellent Nolita spot. Try the duck sausage banh mi, mole fried rice, and oyster and bone marrow omelet.
Terroir At The Porch
Yes, the Highline is a guaranteed weekend traffic jam. But a table at Marco Canora and Paul Grieco's al fresco outpost with a glass of Riesling and a sandwich of duck ham and Taleggio in hand makes braving the crowd worth it.
Maison Premiere
Come for the duck hash and poached egg and a Maison Bloody (with mirepoix and Creole spices), then linger under the plant-covered trellis until you're ready for an oyster- and absinthe-fueled second round.

Brunch en plein air, Daniel Boulud-style means a feast of his signature sausages with eggs en cocotte, madeleines, and rhubarby French toast.
Saul At The Brooklyn Museum
Looking at Judy Chicago's The Dinner Party sure makes us hungry. Grab a seat at the outdoor patio and sink into soft-scrambled eggs and Bien Cuit croissants.
Cookshop The Chelsea greenmarket-inspired standby's got brisket hash, a rampy frittata and five Bloody Marys on the menu, like the mezcal- and cilantro-laced Oaxaca Mary.
The Cannibal
The closest you'll get to a picnic in Midtown: a long wooden table spread with lamb rillettes, merguez, and country biscuits ladled with sausage gravy.

Roberta's
Pizza for breakfast — always a good idea, especially when it's the garlicky Lil' Stinker, or egg-and prosciutto-topped Roy Rogers, enjoyed in Bushwick storage container outdoor bliss.
Isabella's This is not a mirage: Brunch bliss does exist on the Upper West Side. Sit under the canopy and go for one of the extensive Benedicts list (crab cake, filet mignon, smoked salmon) and a Bloody Maria with bacon-infused tequila.
Pig & Khao
Your Lower East Side backyard — if your backyard had grilled pork jowls on the table and Leah Cohen in your kitchen. Fill up on Filipino-style chocolate pudding, Vietnamese bacon, and Nước chấm crepes and grapefruit "Pigronis."
